LAW ADMISSION TEST  [ LAT ]

The Law Admission Test (LAT) is a test that students take when they want to study LLB (Bachelor of Laws) at a university. It helps universities see if students have the skills needed for studying law, like thinking critically and solving problems. Doing well on the LAT can increase your chances of getting into a good LLB program.

You can register for LAT by using one of the two Methods:

  • Contact Kings Law College Management for LAT Registration. 

    OR

  • Visit the link http://etc.hec.gov.pk for online registration.
  • Students who have successfully completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent, such as Grade 12 education.
  • Students who have taken their final examination of HSSC or equivalent, like Grade 12 education, and are waiting for their results.
  • Students need to obtain at least 45% marks in their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or its equivalent, such as Grade 12 education.

Following is the pattern for LAT Exam.

LAT Test is of 100 marks. It’s Test Pattern and Syllabus is as under:

 

Subjective

 

a. 15 marks – Essay (minimum 200 words)
b. 10 marks – Personal Statement either in Urdu or English (minimum 200 words)

 

Multiple Choice Questions

 

1. 20 marks – English (Synonyms/ Antonyms/ Preposition)
2. 20 marks – General Knowledge
3. 10 marks – Islamic Studies
4. 10 marks – Pak Studies
5. 10 marks – Urdu
6. 05 marks – Mathematics

 

Total Marks: 100 (Passing Marks: 50)
